About AKTU
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU)(formerly UPTU) was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, vide Act Amendment No. 1156(2) LXXIX-V-1-15-1(Ka), 24-2015 dated Sept 9, 2015 Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam Sankhya 23 of 2000.
Under the University Act, ‘Technical Education’ includes programmes of education, research and training in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Town Planning, Pharmacy, Applied Arts & Crafts and such other programmes and areas that the central Government may in consultation with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) by notification in Gazette declare.
About Era Foundation
The ERA Foundation is a not for profit organization which supports engineering skills development and aims to bridge the gap between engineering skills and industry demands.
At ERA Foundation , we believe in the power of social entrepreneurship to create positive and lasting change in our communities. Our mission is fueled by a deep-rooted passion to reach out to the underprivileged and make a meaningful impact in their lives.
We operate with a larger objective of enabling holistic improvement of the education sector through consultation and cooperation with key stakeholders including policy makers, education institutions, corporate sector and the student community.
Kalam Pragati
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) in association with ERA Foundation and government of Uttar Pradesh is establishing Kalam Pragati, state-of-the-art facility in the AKTU campus, that will empower students to become problem solvers, acquire competency in emerging technologies and develop solutions that have a positive impact on the community.
यह सुविधा इंजीनियरिंग छात्रों को उनके 21वीं सदी के कौशल के साथ-साथ एआई, एमएल, आईओटी जैसी नवीनतम तकनीकों में उन्नत होने में मदद करने के लिए बनाई गई है ताकि वे अधिक रोजगार योग्य हों और उद्योग के लिए तैयार हों।
AKTU will conduct structured programs at the Innovation Hub to equip the students with practical experience and give them hands on exposure to advanced technologies, tools and machinery.
